What is Pastoral Care?

Pastoral Care helps keep our congregation connected, especially in times of need. Led by our Pastoral Care Minister, Rev. Gaylyn, our pastoral team are here to support you and your loved ones with prayer and “Cheery Call” conversations.

How do we do this?

• In-person visits in hospital, hospice, or home.
  Rev. Gary, Rev. Gaylyn, and our group of trained volunteer visitors takes responsibility for maintaining close contact with people in need of special support, shut-ins, or experiencing crises in their lives.

  Note: The hospitals no longer share patient information with churches - if you don’t tell us that someone you love is in the hospital, there is no other way we’ll find out.
  

• Prayer Chain
  For those who need someone to pray for them or a loved one, our volunteer prayer chain members are committed to praying for those who request prayer, especially in time of crisis. All information shared is treated with strict confidentiality.
